Sanjivani HealthCare Centre

The unique subsidized Integrated health centre was started with a view to promote customized integrative medical solutions and extend quality treatments & investigations at subsidized cost to the economically weaker section of society ( free of cost to deserving poor/helpless/chronically ill/widows/orphans/ unemployed, disabled & abandoned patients).

The clinic was envisioned and sponsored by Dr. Sandeep Jassal since its inception, the clinic has provided subsidized treatments & investigations to more than 2,50,000 patients till date for various ailments like common fevers, allergies, respiratory and skin problems, arthritis, geriatric problems, menstrual & menopausal disorders and behavioral problems like stress etc.. At present an average of 50 patients a day are being treated between  9am-12pm & 6pm-9pm.

The Centre was started in June 1994 by Dr. Sandeep Jassal. The clinic specializes in  medicine as well as other methods which are in harmony with nature's efforts to correct physiological and psychological imbalances and constitutional weaknesses.

The treatment is based on a detailed case study and a total health evaluation & diagnosis done by the physician which helps a wide spectrum of individuals, from newborns to the elderly, in both acute and chronic disease conditions. Integrative medicine is particularly effective in allergic respiratory conditions, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, hypertension, early cancer.

Counseling, Nutrition & Diet advice and Breathing & Exercise techniques form a part of the treatment.

Charity at Sanjivani Health Care Centre: It is a very common sight to come across patients getting timely diagnosis of potentially fatal conditions at Sanjivani which require emergency interventions, surgeries &  hospitalizations. But the shortage of money with the some patients (majority of whom are daily wagers belonging to economically weaker section of the society) makes them hesitant to take the necessary curative treatment & thus suffer in despair. This is where Sanjivani becomes Pro-active to help those in need in the shape of free medicines, surgicals, & even hospital expenses. There is a long list of poor patients who have undergone expensive investigations like Echocardiographies, Ultrasound scans, Lab investigations, Lung function tests & even surgeries, all free of cost in various camps organized at Sanjivani till date.

Our Inspiration: A Health Foundation is being conceived from Dr. Sandeep Jassal's desire to help the under privileged needy patients, together with a co-operation from dedicated team of medical specialists from nearly all the major specialties and like minded individuals, to foster a wider understanding of the prevention and treatment of disease.
