This is a deferred annuity plan with an option

the deferment period.
2) Minimum retirement age is 50 years,
while maximum is 70 years.
3) Deferment Period is 10 to 40 years
(Subject to minimum vesting age).
4) Premiums paid by the policyholder will
help in building a Notional Corpus, which
comprises of the Sum Assured, together with Pure
Endowment benefits purchased out of the bonuses
declared by the Company from time to time.
5) On the date of vesting, policyholder
has the option to take up to 25% of Notional
Corpus in lump sum and use the balance amount,
to purchase an annuity or alternatively utilise
the whole amount to purchase an annuity.
6) Policyholder has the option to
surrender Policy prior to its Vesting Date.
While the minimum guaranteed surrender value
under Regular Premium policies is 55% of the
Premiums paid, under Single Premium policies it
is 80% of the Premium paid. However, the policy
will not acquire any cash surrender value until
completion of one year from the date of issue of
